PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Al Fikrah: Jurnal Pemikiran dan Pendidikan Islam implements a peer review policy with the following provisions:

  • 1. Selection Responsibility: The Editorial Board holds full responsibility for the initial screening of manuscripts and the appointment of competent reviewers in the respective field.
  • 2. Double-Blind Peer Review: The evaluation is conducted confidentially, where reviewers do not know the identity of the authors, and authors do not know the identity of the reviewers, to maintain strict objectivity.
  • 3. Assessment Criteria: The review process considers aspects of novelty, originality, objectivity, methodological rigor, scientific impact, accuracy of conclusions, and the relevance of references.
  • 4. Final Decision: The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance is made by the Editorial Board, taking into account the critical comments and recommendations from the reviewers.
  • 5. Decision Correspondence: The Editor will communicate the final decision regarding the submission status to the corresponding author based on the evaluation results from the reviewer team.
  • 6. Confidentiality of Materials: The Editorial Board is obligated to maintain strict confidentiality of all manuscript materials and all forms of communication with reviewers throughout the review process.
